How to Lead Change Without Losing Your Job

Do you ever feel isolated when trying to answer God’s calling on your life as a pastor and disciple-maker? Are you worried about rocking the boat by focusing on disciple-making rather than just programming? Do you struggle to find the right answers as you navigate through big changes with a biblical perspective?

Over the past several months, we’ve heard multiple pastors share the same struggle—how to lead the charge in shifting their church’s culture towards disciple making. It’s uncomfortable, hard, and in some places, job threatening.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20, ESV

In Matthew 28, Jesus calls us to make disciples even when it’s hard. But the good news is that you don’t have to do it alone.

Join discipleFIRST Executive Director Glenn Underhill, discipleFIRST founder Craig Etheredge, and pastor Ken Adams on January 26 at 1:00 pm CST for a free webinar to discuss leading through change without losing your job. Together, we’ll:

  • Discover the proven process for leading change
  • Learn to communicate change to the people in your church
  • Understand the barriers that stall change and how to push through to success

There will also be a Q&A portion of the webinar. To ask a question to be discussed live on the webinar, head over to Twitter and ask us using the hashtag #discipleFIRSTleadingchange.
